New cycle
Tuesday, November 13th, 2007As you may (or may not) know the number one transportation in the Netherlands is the bicycle. Kids learn how to ride a bicycle at the age of three or four. By the time the kids go to school they can control and ride a bicycle as well as they can walk. I always liked to terrorize the streets and pavement on my bicycle when I was young. I even raced bicycles. The only thing I didn’t like was that all bikes look alike.
I customized my bike by mounting a steer from a race bike upside down on my regular bike. This kind of looked like the steer of a chopper motorcycle. Really cool. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of that bike. It got stolen when I was twelve. Apparently other kids liked my bike too.
