Hot news: The board of Yahoo! rejected the bid by Microsoft. You can read all about it in Yahoo! news. Of course a hostile takeover is still possible. The offer of Microsoft was 62% above the stock value at the time. So maybe the shareholders will sell to Microsoft. Or can the Yahoo! board come up with some other plan to satisfy the shareholders?
