BloggEd! downtime

Oh dear. I messed up my apache/php5 installation and without me noticing it I have been down all night. Well who cares anyway? Hope you had a good night’s sleep. Blog is up and running again.

Gotta be more careful when relentlessly updating my system to the latest bleeding edge of software versions. Apparently there is a missing dependency between libphp5 and libltdl. So updating libtool kills libphp5.

    Gentoo rocks, at least when you know how to handle it, I obviously don’t :-D

    There is a dependency between libphp5 and libtool (libltdl) that isn’t properly maintained. When installing a new libtool php5 breaks. Maybe the revdep- tools fix this but I just did it by hand.
