There was a sound proof music/ recording/ rehearsal studio especially built in that basement where we could pretty much turn up the (big marsell and peavey) amps till the point it would seriously damage our hearing (I'z playing with ear plugs)!! And when taking a break we'd be relaxing a bit on the couches in the spacious lounge area down there as well. Beats having to pay 'em bucks renting a studio and having to share it with others (who might mess around with your gear) big time!! Oh those good old days :-) Yep, and darn convenient it was!
