Wordpress update
Sunday, December 30th, 2007Just a quick note to recommend the Wordpress software that drives this blog. Yesterday a new version was released (2.3.2) that contains some security & bug fixes and other minor updates. Deployment of the new version is a breeze. Installing the update was a breeze. Just unpack the distribution over the existing tree and there you go. Very smooth. So if you are looking for blog software please take a look at Wordpress and I think you’ll like it as much as I do.
The only thing I had to tweak was to reapply a little change I made to one of the core widgets (calendar). That is ofcourse my problem not wordpresses’, since I like to tweak the code a little every now and then.
